Personal Comments: Served in the Air Force from 1979 to 1985.  Retired from the Albuquerque Police Department and Air Force Reserve in 2003.  My reserve unit was mobilized after 9-11 for Operation Enduring Freedom.  I did two tours in Southwest and Central Asia.  Participated in anti-terrorism/force protection operations in Afghanistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Africa, and the Sinai Penninsula.   Transported the first load of enemy combatants from Kandahar, Afghanistan to GITMO, Cuba.   I have two daughters and five grand kids.   I enjoy riding my Harley, surfing when I'm in Hawaii, and home brewing beer.

Personal Comments: NOTICE: This is an update, not an original registration, but I wasn't sure how to update my original submission. I finally finished law school at IU-Bloomington in '01 and then stayed another year and earned a M.S. in Information Systems at the Kelley School of Business. During my last year of law school I clerked at the Federal Court in downtown Indy and--get ready to turn green with envy with boys--one day I got to have lunch with our class' most beautiful graduate, none other than Joan (Blackwell) Ligocki!!! Oh, okay, we're both married parents and she was just being nice to some nut who used to have a secret crush on her...but, hey, that's a "date" I never could have had in high school (did I ever have a date?), so I'm not about to miss the chance to brag about it here. :) 

Ford hired me directly from the MSIS program in '02 and started working here later that summer. I have previously worked in IT Security, Corporate Privacy, Telecommunications, and in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). I completed the two-year Ford College Graduate program in '04 and was immediately hired in the Informaton Technology (IT) Transactions group. We're currently a small group of six lawyers who also have varying IT-related degrees/experience and we manage Ford's IT contracts globally. 

Later this year you may see a competition-based reality TV series from Ford, focused around designing automobiles. That was my original idea which I submitted back '03/'04. 

I'm still happily married to the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on, and our daughter, Morgan, turns 16 next month. 

Who knows what the future holds, but at some point, whether before or after Ford begs me to be CEO, I'm considering running for public office. I'm so fed up with over-rehearsed political responses from Washington insiders, and I still believe people will elect someone with a good heart, a sharp mind, and no fear of making mistakes in the pursuit of the greater good. Now, whether they'll elect someone who's also not afraid to say what's on his mind--even when I know it will hurt me politically--remains to be seen. FYI - I often refer to myself as a bleeding heart liberal (e.g., I support gay marriage), but I'm really closer to the center than the far left (e.g., I believe in a strong, modern, well-equipped military) and--although I have SIRIUS satellite radio and sometimes listen to Howard Stern--I couldn't be happier about the Bush administration's crackdown on indecency in broadcast radio and television. Okay, that's enough rambling from me.

Personal Comments: At the end of Aug 2008, my husband Bill and I completed adoption of 3 teenagers from Guatemala. (2 girls, ages 16 & 14 and 1 boy, age 10)  The adoption process took approx 14 months from beginning to end.  They are enrolled in Taylor Community Schools and doing great!  Our son Jachob was married in November 2008 and lives on the north side of Kokomo.  Our daughter Amanda and her 2 sons have been living with us over the past year. (Yes, I'm a Grandma and loving every minute!) Personal Comments: HI everyone.  I have worked for Kokomo Center School Corp for over 25 years.  I have done a bit of everything during my employment and have met many great and dedicated school employees along the way.  I started as a bus driver but have also worked for the central maintenance department and am currently at Darrough Chapel Elementary working as a custodial/maintenance employee.  One of the biggest thrills about going to work these days are the friendships I have made with the "Special Needs" students in our building, they are wonderful children and their physical and mental difficulties constantly remind me how insignificant my problems really are!  Darrough Chapel is scheduled to close as  K-5 building this fall and I will really miss these children.

When not at work I am very happy being at home with my black lab Skylar.  I enjoy SCUBA diving during the warm months and spending time with my best friend Laura passing the time sitting on the deck enjoying great friends and music. I also enjoy reading and crossword puzzles.  I am considering early retirement in a year and a half ( August 2010) and moving to Florida so I can SCUBA dive year around before I get to old to do it anymore (plus I will NOT miss winter)!   I still see several classmates around town and find it hard to believe so many years have passed!  Please feel free to contact me through my email.  Good luck to all, Doug

Personal Comments: Hi all. You guys and gals are so missed. I've been out of touch living so far from Kokomo. Lived in England for 3 years and spent 20 yrs in the U.S.A.F., traveling all over the country(so I can relate to the Kyle Baxters and Mike Teagues out there who also did the military thang'), and retired from that in 1999, and returned to Idaho to my dream house. Am doing very well in life, but unlucky in love. No wife. No kids. Life is simple. Am currently on staff at the local Family History Center, and spend 10hrs a week volunteering my time researching family history. Genealogy is a lot of fun. I also co-chair a Book-Review board charity, where we raise money and give books away to children of low-income families. My short and long term goals are to help others in my community. Have no pets, but I do have lots of house plants. Some of my hobbies are exercising (walking 3 miles per day) and reading about military history. I also enjoy landscaping. In fact, I planted 25 trees and 50 shrubs on my 3/4 acre lot. You could say that I have my own ecosystem here. Wild birds, rabbits, squarrels and more just love it. Personal Comments: To give you the highlights of my interesting work career, I spent 3 years managing a 911 center, 4 years as a civilian accident investigator, and approximately 16 years as a 911 dispatcher/controller. I have now moved on and work for Anthem/Wellpoint out by the Indianapolis Airport, close to where I live. I have one child, Melissa, who will be 18 years old this fall. She is definitely a chip off the ole' block! I love my 2007 Honda Rebel 250, which I cant wait to start riding again this spring, and I love to listen to music from our day, especially rock 'n roll!
