Personal Comments: What a difference a couple of years make! Next week is my 10-year anniversary, JT & Chris are almost 5, and little Katie is due in September (’06). I am now lobbying to the State of North Carolina, for a Law / Lobbying firm with several clients, big and small, and from both sides of the political spectrum- big tobacco and big banking to environmentalists and farmers- and am still heavily involved with NC State University. I am working hard to start a law school here in Raleigh at State. I even made VP of my firm in May of this year.

We are living in Raleigh, North Carolina again, and I think we are here to stay for a while.  (As of this post, the ‘Canes are one game away from the Stanley Cup- GO CANES!) It was a bummer not to be able to come up for the reunion, but if any of you are even in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, please drop me a line. We had three children together plus Mercedes. As of November they are as follows: Mercedes 13, Alethea 9, Sebastian 7, and Jillian 4. I am currently going through a divorce and doing the single mom thing. I’m taking classes at Ivy Tech. I work at a wonderful school, the Agape Garden Montessori School. Personal Comments: Hello all! It's so amazing to see how blessed and successful everyone is! After graduation I attended IU for a couple of years. During that time of my life I was very, very lost. I couln't handle the freedom from adult supervision, got into some trouble, and eventually I had to drop out. But God used all of that to get me to the place I'm in now. If I wouldn't have gone through what I went through, I doubt I would be serving Him today. From that ordeal I gave my life to Christ in March of 1998 and I have truly found the meaning of life. I met my wife at IU and we were married on Aug.14, 1999. I work for DaimlerChrysler and reside in Noblesville, IN. I have a business on the side and am currently trying to fire my employer(lol). On September 16, 2003 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emily Elizabeth. I am a stay-at-home Mom now and enjoying every minute of it. I also am pursuing another degree in Nursing at IUK. Personal Comments: I see that the people running this are just like the school used to be about me and the other Shelley. They deleted my post b/c they thought my info changed or something. Anyway, I am the brunette one. I got married in '99 to Keith. I finally decided to go to college in 9/2001 only to drop out b/c I found out I had breast cancer. I battled it for  9 months. I got pregnant two months after treatment ended. We have a daughter. Her name is Kalia. She was born 5/10/03, five weeks early due to cancer spreading. She is 1 1/2 and very rowdy. I am currently battling cancer again for the fourth time and have NO intentions of giving up no matter how many times it comes back. I am doing fine right now and I am very grateful for all that has been given to me. Glad to see so many posts. Hopefully we will have a better reunion than my husbands class had. (class of 1993)
