Personal Comments: I feel like that song "I've Been Everywhere, Man" may have been written about me. Since leaving the Kokomo area in 1976, I've lived in Illinois (twice), California, New York City, Hawaii, Missouri (twice), Texas, Alabama and now Florida. And the list of countries I visited in my Navy days and since is a lot longer than that list.

I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and have attended a little bit of graduate school.

We are lucky to live in the Shenandoah Valley which does have four moderate seasons. I have two green thumbs, one from each parent, so I have made my goal in life to convert my 1 acre yard into gardens, so far in five years I've gotten rid of 3/4 of an acre. Our oldest, Carly is graduating in May with a degree in Biology and will teach AP Chemistry, we are all busy planning her wedding in June. Kimberly our middle daughter is majoring in Christian Studies at Dallas Baptist University, and our youngest is in Culinary school in Houston to be a pastry chef... she just got a job as an ass't pastry chef in Houston and starts out making more than I do after 18 years as a Pre-K teacher at a private school!
