Spent a few years in South East Asia touring by foot and returned to the US where I was stationed in the San Francisco Bay area. While in the Bay Area I met the most wonderful woman of my life and we have been together since 1969. Two boys, five grandchildren later and dragging her and the kids around the world for 20 years with the US Army we settled in a small town in Kansas. Who would guess! I now work for a telecommunications company based out of Kansas as a software engineer (geek per my wife). While not at work I teach graduate school in the evenings. Personal Comments: After h.s. I went on to Radiology School at St. Joe in Kokomo. I married a marine and we traveled throughout the U.S. fora few years. We went back to Kokomo, but he died suddenly. I bought a van and my two young children and I traveled in the van together throughout the U.S. for over a year. My brother, Tom Jenks, convinced me to move to Connecticut with him. He was stationed at the Groton sub base while in the Navy. I have stayed in Connecticut ever since but have been privileged to be able to travel and try several different types of jobs. I re-married after 10 years, got my BS in business admin. We had one child and two step-children. We were raising 5 kids! I was divoced after 12 years and am now finally married to a WONDERFUL man. Personal Comments: I married Jeff in 1972 and we have two daughters - Jennifer (just got married) is 26 and teaches French at a high school, and Jacquelyn is 21 and a senior Radio, TV and Film major at Texas Christian University. We have lived in Texas since 1973 and love it here. For the past 15 years I have been a costumer / costume designer for many school districts around the Dallas - Ft. Worth area. This past year designed and constructed the 200 plus costumes for Phantom of the Opera in a pilot program of 6 schools nation wide by the Weber Group to see if this play can be released for schools to perform. In in 2004 I went back to teaching art part time at Westlake International Baccalaureate (IB) School in the upper grades. We have two dogs and three grand dogs.

Personal Comments: I have been divorced for many years. My older son is a pilot and lives with his wife and three children in a suburb of Louisville. My younger son is a law school professor and lives with his wife and three children in Jacksonville. 

After graduating from Purdue University, I moved to New York and lived on Long Island for many years. I still have my house there on the barrier beach and love sailing, kayaking on the bay and swimming in the ocean. I am an attorney and served as General Counsel at New York Institute of Technology for 16 years. I then spent two years as Vice President of Ross University, the division of DeVry Inc. that operates medical and veterinary schools in the Caribbean. Since January of this year, I have been head of an accreditation organization in Washington, DC. 

I am a candidate for a Ph.D. in Education. I have enjoyed reading all the postings from fellow classmates, but now I have to go back to work on the dissertation. Best wishes to everyone.

After graduation, my first husband, Dick Munsey and I moved to Key West Florida, where he was stationed on the USS Quillback as an electrical engineer. After his stint in the Navy, we returned to Kokomo where I became an accountant for State Security Life Insurance. After 5 years and 3 boys, I took a job at Delphi-Delco Electronics, where I worked in accounting positions for 24 years. I was one of the 800 to be permanently layed-off on June 1st, 2001. Our three grown sons are all married, with children and very successful. I am now remarried to Bob Jarrell, a mechanical engineer working for Daimler-Chrysler. Personal Comments: My father was drafted right out of high school into the United States Navy. Somehow he ended up a Navy Seal, and a war hero to his peers. I'm very proud of him. His social skills are lacking still. I'd love to see him attend his reunion. Please write and encourage him to go. We recently drug him to his Navy Seal reunion in Boulder Colorado. It was wonderful to see the many people who he served with in war time. I am one of 5 children he has. He retired from the U.S. Post office. He is a union electrician and the owner of a local tree trimming company.

Worked there until my return in 1994. I had held many jobs in Labor relations, Production Control and Operations, with last position as Plant Manager, retiring in 2004. Spend time in retirement with family and my Corvette hobby. Personal Comments: I went into the Navy after graduation. I served on 4 ships, pulled shore duty in Puerto Rico and Germany and spent a year on PBR's in Vietnam. I married my first wife while stationed in Puerto Rico and had a daughter from that marriage; Mary Ann, my daughter, lives in New Hampshire and is married with one son. After my divorce, I worked on commercial fishing boats in Oregon and Hawaii, then worked at a missle range in the Marshall Islands. I came to Tennessee and married Kathy in 1983. I have one step-son, Clay, who is in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. He is married and has three daughters. Kathy and I also have two children together: Kara is married and in the Air Force. She is stationed in Monterey, Ca. Ben is a senior in high school and is now, since my stroke, truly my "right hand man." I drove a tractor trailer all over the country until August 2004, when a stroke weakened my right arm. I'm too young to retire so I decided to retrain and enrolled at Vol State Community College with a major in logistics management. I have family in Kokomo and visit every year or two.
