Personal Comments: I graduated from Indiana University in 1964, moved to Alaska in 1967, began teaching biology at West High School (Anchorage) in 1969, got married in 1983, and retired (from teaching) in 1987. My wife, Mary, and I opened an out-of-print book store in 1988 and closed it 5 years later. We attended special book sales for a few years, got tired of that and quit; we still do a little book business on the internet.
Our adopted son, John, born in 1989, has been with us five years, and will be entering high school next year.
In the summer we hike, camp, and spend time at our cabin on the ocean near Seldovia, AK. In the winter I shovel snow.

Personal Comments: I am currently teaching Texas history (unusual for a Hoosier)and serve as department chair at Kaffie M.S. in Corpus Christi. I have resided here since 1979 when Jack was transferred by Southwestern Bell. After his death in 1983, Nathan (our son) and I continued to live here. Nathan, now 28, lives/works in Austin, which is "the" place in Texas. I travel quite a bit in the summer, having been to Israel, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and most of the countries of Europe. I have become a student of the Holocaust in the past years, and with a colleague, have created a video based on Holocaust survivors'testimonies, as well as presenting workshops on the subject. I'm also passionate about Texas history. Sorry, Indiana. I'm anxious to check-in with KHS classmates, since I haven't been back to our reunions in quite awhile.

Active in library advocacy organizations and NJ government. Six years ago Harry and I were married, and I now am a step-mother to his 27 year old daughter. My two daughters have presented us with two grandchildren each so far. We hope to do more traveling now that we are working our way into retirement, and are interested in making the trip to Kokomo this spring or early summer if there is a forty fifth reunion. Personal Comments: How nice to find this site! A hint about how to remember me - I was a majorette in 56/57. I completed HS in 57 but KHS didn't award the diploma until 58, (No early graduations allowed way back then!) so I'd guess I belong to the Class of 58. Was married to Earle Miller (deceased) from Greentown right after HS. We moved to Indianapolis to go to college. Then three years in CA while he was in USMC. Back to Greentown, then off to IA and then MN. Two daughters and three grandchildren now. Did a million things, lived a lot of places, then later went back to college again in 76, just for the fun of it. I own three businesses and keep slightly busy! I am a speaker, author, coach, and facilitate workshops. (www.jmillerassociates.com) After embracing my American Indian heritage (Cherokee), I became active in Indian communites across the country as an educator and story teller. Currently an adjunct instructor in two Universities and moving most of my classes to online learning. I love the technologies of the internet and how it is bringing so many of us back together again.
