We have 9 grandchildren, from the ages of 2 1/2 to 21. The oldest grandson lives down here in Alabama. The next oldest attends college in Ft. Wayne. I retired from Delco in 1993 and moved to Alabama on Weiss Lake. Spend lots of time back home in Indiana visiting with my mother, children, grandchildren and friends. Go to Flordia for a couple weeks in the winter to fish & visit friends.

Personal Comments: After graduating I worked at the Public Service Company in downtown Kokomo for about 5 years - until I married a Southern boy from Mississippi. He was his Father's Associate Pastor - which meant I had to leave Kokomo and head South. After much prayer, pleading and begging (God - not John!) we left MS and moved to Marion, IN. where we started a little Mission church. My husband pastored there for 26 years. We built a new church building to seat 1400 - had a Day Care Center (Little Tot Campus), a Christian School (Bethel Christian Academy) and a Smorgasbord (The Old Schoolhouse Smorgasbord.) We left Marion and moved to Nashville, TN where my husband started a business. Since I am not old enough to retire - (at least not in my mind - and certainly not in my looks!) I work 2 part time jobs. JCPenney Call Center and the 700 Club (CBN) as a Prayer Counselor. We have 2 sons who live in Nashville, Brad and Kevin and 2 beautiful grandsons, Wesley and Jordan, ages 5 and 6 and Taylor, a darling little 2 year old granddaughter. We love to travel. Have been to Hawaii 5 times, St Thomas VI a few times, Mexico, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, etc. I love to read, cook, write, travel, crafting, sew and take my grandbabies to the movies and shopping for toys! Personal Comments: Got married a couple years after graduation from K.H.S. Stayed home and raised two sons. After 22 years, my first marriage ended in a divorce. Three years later, I married my present husband, John. We are still happy-in-love after 16 years of marriage and enjoying retirement together. We left Kokomo in 1988 to go to Tampa, Florida with my husband's employment. After 5 years, we relocated here in Walhalla. This is beautiful country, located at the foothills of the BlueRidge Mountains. Our area is known as the "golden corner" and also as "God's country!" One year ago, we celebrated our retirement by taking a trip to Hawaii (my husband was born and raised there.) Looking forward to our class reunion next year!
