Personal Comments: In addition to my wife, I have three great children, James Earl, Gary Joe, and Cindy Lynn. I was a police officer for 11 years, 1962 to 1973. In '73, I moved to Searcy, Arkansas, to enroll in Harding University. I graduated in '77 with two degrees, Bible and Psychology. I preached for a number of years and operated my own business to help support the work with small churches. After several years, I went back to school, earned an art degree, and certified to teach. I taught at our local high school, SHS, in Shirley, Arkansas. I retired from teaching on June 1, 1999. My wife taught for 20 years and is now retired. Had it not been for the great teachers and the wonderful preparation they provided, none of whatever I have accomplished would have been possible. I thank them and all my friends for four memorable years.
