Health Careers II- Health Care Technology

Health Care Technology is designed to expose students to instruments and equipment used in the health care industry. Emphasis is placed on medical diagnosis and treatment, health maintenance, and disease prevention.  Instructional strategies and technologies will be used to integrate concepts from computer physics, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology. Current and future trends in the health care industry will also be integrated in the course. Students will have a chance to explore concepts of health and wellness from the perspective of both the health consumer and health worker.
