Electronics covers the fundamentals of discrete components and circuitry. Students learn to use various electronic testing equipment and read schematics. Students put those skills to use and learn to troubleshoot various circuits. Also, students learn how circuits behave through the application of the laws and formulas of electronics. The learning is reinforced through hands-on labs and projects. The first year is primarily focused on DC, AC and analog Circuits. The second year progresses into Digital Circuits, Microprocessors, Fiber Optics, Robotics and other topics. |
