This handbook is designed to introduce you to the great opportunities within Kokomo-Center Schools. It is presented as an overview of options, activities, practices, procedures, policies, curriculum, assessment, awards, athletics, and many other pieces of interesting information for all programs that make up our school corporation. The information contained within this handbook and additional references are available on the Kokomo-Center Schools website at www.kokomo.k12.in.us. Please refer to this handbook and website as needed. If you do not find answers to your questions, please call your school and you will be directed to someone who will assist you. All of the schools are a part of the Kokomo Center Township School Corporation and operate under rules, regulations, and policies as established by the Board of School Trustees and by directives from the Indiana Department of Education. Each school, however, may have some variations in general administrative procedures and program opportunities to provide for different needs and interests served in various parts of the corporation. Knowledge and understanding of the information is important in assuring that each of the students in our school community become passionate learners who are prepared for success in school and beyond. |
