Kokomo Area Career Center welding students, left-right, Kaleb Bitner, Cody Damewood, Austin Oakes, and Andrew Trueblood, helped create this memorial bench in honor of MaryAnn Livingston.
Kokomo Area Career Center students from Teacher Brian Mikesell’s welding class created a memorial bench outside the entrance to the career center in honor of Mary Ann Livingston. The students wanted to commemorate Mrs. Livingston’s service to Kokomo-Center Schools. Mrs. Livingston, who graduated from Kokomo High School in 1952, was hired by Kokomo-Center upon graduation and served as the Assistant to the Director of KACC for 58 years. Mrs. Livingston served six career center directors and eight superintendents before retiring in June 2010. She dedicated her professional career to the service of the career center students and staff before passing away in August 2010. |
