The food service department of Kokomo-Center Schools is seeking parents of students in our school buildings who might be interested in subbing in the cafeterias. The benefit in subbing in our cafeterias would allow you as a parent/guardian to have the flexibility in ensuring that your child is off safely to school and enables you to be home when your child returns home from school.

Substitute employees are a vital part of our operations at Kokomo-Center Schools. When our cafeteria staff is not available to perform their duties, we rely on the participation and dedication of substitute employees. The first step to become a food service substitute employee is to complete an online application. Just follow the links under "Employment" .

State law requires all substitute employees to submit to and pass an extensive background check for the protection of our students. There is currently a $28.00 fee for this process and is the responsibility of the applicant.
