Planning a Reunion?
Here are some helpful tips to recent graduates who may have never planned a reunion before.  They are tried and true according to the KHS alumnus who was so kind to compile this action plan.
  • Twelve to fourteen months prior to reunion, the general reunion committee should be formed.  The date for the reunion should be selected.  Discussions should also start on location, band, caterer, meeting dates, etc.
  • A database of graduates should be built immediately, beginning with known addresses gathered from friends, Classmates.com, the KHS website and newspaper announcements.
  • In January or February of the reunion year, if you can afford it, a postcard mailing to all classmates to announce date so that vacations can be planned.
  • In April or May, depending on the date of the reunion, a full informational brochure should be mailed out to all known classmates.  From this mailing your committee will collect reservations for the actual reunion, any golf outing or Friday night activity that may be planned.  Information for the reunion booklet should be compiled and sent to the printer.  Any pre-order of shirts, mugs, etc. should be included with this mailing.
